These terms apply to purchases from SteelShed.ie. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

2. Product Information

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, and specifications.

Photographs may show accessories or decorative items that are not included. Please check the product description for details of what is supplied.

Colours may appear differently depending on your screen. Any dimensions described as approximate should be treated accordingly.

Many products are supplied flat-packed and require assembly. Please check the product information and assembly requirements before ordering.

If a particular feature, measurement or intended use is important to your purchase, please contact us before placing your order.

Products supplied must match their agreed description. Updates to website descriptions do not change an order already accepted.

3. Orders and Acceptance

Please check your order, contact details and delivery address before completing your purchase.

An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. For online purchases, we normally accept your order when we send your dispatch confirmation.

Payment may be taken before dispatch. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund any payment due.

If we identify a pricing or product-information error before accepting your order, we will explain the issue and give you the option to proceed on the corrected terms or cancel for a refund. We will not change the agreed price of an accepted order without your agreement.

For customised products, please check any specifications or designs before approving them. Any material changes to an approved specification will require your agreement.

4. Prices, Payment and Promotions

Prices are displayed in euros and include VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.

Any applicable delivery charges or additional costs will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Discount codes are subject to their advertised conditions, expiry dates and product restrictions. Unless stated otherwise, only one discount code can be used per order.

Invoices and order confirmations are normally sent by email. If you need another copy or a VAT invoice, please contact info@steelshed.ie with your order details.

5. Delivery Information

For products that are in stock, delivery is normally within 2–4 working days.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree to a particular delivery date.

We offer delivery across Ireland. Where a product qualifies for free delivery, this will be stated on the product page or at checkout.

Large or heavy products may require a specialist delivery service. Sheds and storage units may arrive in several boxes, and separate packages may occasionally arrive at different times.

Please provide an accurate delivery address and ensure suitable access for the delivery vehicle. Tell us about any access restrictions before dispatch.

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, delivery does not include assembly, installation or moving the product to its final position.

Tracking details will be supplied where available.

If delivery is delayed or an attempted delivery is unsuccessful, please contact us so we can help. Any proposed redelivery charge will be explained before you agree to it.

We remain responsible for the goods until you, or a person you nominate, receives them, except where the law provides otherwise.

6. Checking Your Delivery

Please check the packaging and number of boxes when your delivery arrives.

If you notice damage, missing parts or an incorrect item, contact info@steelshed.ie as soon as possible. Include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where practical.

Signing for delivery does not mean that you have accepted a faulty product or given up your consumer rights.

Keep the packaging where possible, as it may help with any return. Original packaging is not a condition of exercising your statutory rights.

Do not assemble or continue using a product if you believe it is damaged or unsafe. Contact us for advice.

7. Cancelling an Online Order

For most online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after receiving the goods.

Where one order is delivered in separate packages or deliveries, the cancellation period generally runs from receipt of the final package or item.

To cancel, send a clear statement to info@steelshed.ie or write to our postal address. Include enough information for us to identify your order.

You may use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to.

After notifying us, return the goods within a further 14 calendar days, unless we have agreed to collect them.

If you wish to cancel before dispatch, contact us promptly. Dispatch does not remove an applicable statutory cancellation right.

The change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This exception does not remove your rights if those goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Purchases concluded in person at our premises do not generally carry a statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. Your rights concerning faulty goods still apply

8. Returning Goods and Return Costs

Please contact us before sending goods back so we can identify the order and provide practical return instructions. Our acknowledgement is not a requirement for exercising your statutory cancellation right.

Please package goods securely. Use the original packaging if available, or suitable alternative packaging.

You may inspect goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Where handling goes beyond necessary inspection and reduces their value, a proportionate deduction may apply where permitted by law.

For a change-of-mind cancellation, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where we informed you before purchase and the law permits this.

If we offer to collect goods following a statutory cancellation or are otherwise legally required to collect them at our expense, we will cover that collection cost.

We cover the necessary return costs for goods that are faulty, damaged on delivery or incorrectly supplied.

9. Refunds Following Online Cancellation

For a valid statutory cancellation, we will refund the amount due without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of receiving your cancellation notice.

Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we may withhold the refund until we receive them back or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever happens first.

When you cancel the whole order, the refund includes any standard outbound delivery charge. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery option are not refundable beyond the standard delivery amount.

Refunds will use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge a refund-processing fee.

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display an issued refund.

10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Products must meet their agreed description, be of satisfactory quality and be suitable for their intended purpose.

If goods are faulty or otherwise do not meet the contract, contact us with your order details and an explanation of the problem. Photographs may help us assess it, but are not an absolute condition of your rights.

Where the legal conditions are met, you may reject faulty goods and request a full refund within the first 30 days after receiving them.

After that period, you may generally seek a repair or replacement. A price reduction or refund may be available where the fault is serious, a remedy fails or other statutory conditions apply.

Any required repair or replacement will be provided free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.

Where you are entitled to terminate the purchase for faulty goods, we will refund you within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned goods, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.

SteelShed.ie remains responsible for resolving your claim. Your rights are not dependent solely on a manufacturer’s warranty.

11. Product Guarantee

Unless stated otherwise on the product page, our commercial guarantee lasts 12 months and covers manufacturing defects.

Please contact us with evidence of purchase and details of the issue if you wish to make a claim.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, incorrect assembly, unauthorised modifications or failure to follow the supplied care instructions. Any exclusion applies only where the excluded cause is responsible for the damage.

Storm or weather damage unrelated to a product defect may fall outside the commercial guarantee.

The guarantee is additional to your statutory rights. Those rights may continue beyond the guarantee period.

12. Assembly, Installation and Safety

Follow the manufacturer’s assembly, installation, anchoring and maintenance instructions.

Before assembly, check that all required parts are present. Contact us if parts are missing, damaged or appear incorrect.

Use a suitable base and any required anchoring system. Obtain competent assistance where necessary.

Large panels and packages can be heavy or awkward to handle. Use suitable lifting assistance and keep children away from the assembly area.

Do not force components together or modify parts to overcome an unexplained fitting problem. Contact us for advice.

Do not use a product that appears unsafe. Follow the manufacturer’s guidance concerning wind, snow and other severe weather.

These instructions do not exclude our responsibility for defective products or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Customer Service and Complaints

Please send questions or complaints to info@steelshed.ie, including your order number and relevant details.

We aim to respond to written enquiries within one working day and resolve complaints within five working days where possible.

Some matters require further investigation. If more time is needed, we will explain the next steps and keep you informed.

These service targets do not extend any statutory deadline or limit your consumer rights.

14. Product Reviews

Reviews help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

We may moderate content containing spam, abusive language, personal information or material unrelated to the product.

Reviews should reflect an honest experience. Feedback will not be removed solely because it is negative.

15. Privacy and Cookies

Personal information supplied when ordering or contacting us is handled in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

Please see our separate Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, share and retain personal information, and how to exercise your rights.

16. Humm Finance

Humm finance may be available on eligible purchases.

Applications are subject to the provider’s eligibility checks and approval. Interest, fees and repayment terms depend on the agreement offered.

Any repayment illustration should be checked against the final finance agreement. Review the repayment schedule and total amount payable before accepting.

The finance provider manages the credit application and agreement. SteelShed.ie remains responsible for your purchase and your applicable consumer rights.

17. Competitions and Promotions

Competitions and promotions are subject to the rules published with each offer.

Those rules will explain eligibility, entry requirements, opening and closing dates, prizes and how winners are selected.

Please read the relevant rules before entering.

18. Electrical Products and Recycling

Electrical products should not be disposed of with ordinary household waste.

Please contact us for information about appropriate recycling and any applicable take-back arrangements.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms for future purchases.

The terms applicable to an accepted order are those agreed when that order was placed, subject to your statutory rights.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Optional Cancellation Form
